The Appliances Laboratory of the INSTITUTO DEL GAS ARGENTINO makes all the tests cover by the approved standards for the certification of:

• Household cooking ranges.
• Instantaneous water heaters
• Storage water heaters
• Room heaters (unvented, room vented and direct vented)
• Absortion refrigerators
• Direct and indirect flame central heating appliances
• Absortion cooling appliances
• Clothes dryers
• Boiler for central and individual heating systems
• Gastronomic appliances (friers, continuos furnaces, stoves).

For these activities the Institute has laboratories for the accomplishment of smokeless combustion tests, combustion efficiency tests, external and contact temperatures, wind resistance tests (with a generating unit of over 100 km/hr), aging and structure tests, waterproofing tests, cromatography tests and pollutant's tests (in a room stems).
